Director (AGC), Workforce Integrity & Marketplace Compliance

About the role

Snorkel is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Director (AGC), Workforce Integrity & Marketplace Compliance. Reporting to Snorkel's General Counsel, this role will lead employment, labor, and marketplace compliance strategy across a fast-moving, technology-driven business. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in traditional employment law and independent contractor models, along with experience counseling product and business teams in startup environments. This person will partner closely with Product, Operations, People, Policy, Trust & Safety, and leadership to navigate workforce and marketplace risk while enabling growth. We're looking for a pragmatic, business-oriented attorney who exercises strong judgment, communicates clearly, and balances legal risk with operational realities.
