The Senior Ability Analyst primarily investigates claims to make timely, accurate and customer focused initial and ongoing Long Term Disability benefit determinations using vocational, medical, and financial claim management. The Senior Ability Analyst supports our mission of helping our customers rebuild their lives after an unexpected event or illness happens while following corporate claim standards, policies, and procedures, and statutory, regulatory and ethics requirements. Claim complexity varies depending on tenure in role, which may be inclusive of working with customers with behavioral health/mental illnesses and terminal diagnoses. *This position supports our GRP business, and we will only consider applicants who are currently GRP STD Analysts at this time.* Work Arrangements: This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations (Hartford CT) will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise. Training Hours: Core business hours M-F Length of Training: 6 - 8 weeks Work Hours After Training: Core business hours
