We're leveraging our expertise in precision actuation, thrust vector control, attitude control, control electronics and software to provide a variety of complex integrated guidance, navigation and control (iGNC) system solutions in the hypersonic vehicle market. We're looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer interested in career growth and being part of a team committed to the development of critical next-generation hypersonic systems. To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering 10+ years of design and development engineering work experience Strong hands-on mindset Significant knowledge of engineering fundamentals Motor Control Electronics Experience Power Electronics Experience Team-oriented mindset, with the desire to lead and contribute to a high functioning team Self-motivated approach, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills Proficient communication skills, both in writing technical documentation and in public speaking presentations The ability to manage competing priorities of multiple stakeholders. Must have the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Ability to work onsite in Elma, NY (remote candidates will not be considered) It would be great if you also had: MS Degree in Electrical Engineering Experience in the Aerospace industry Experience with military standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810); RTCA/DO-254, and RTCA/DO-160 standards Radiation-Hardened electronics experience Familiarity with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods, tools, and processes Familiarity with embedded systems/firmware and software development Current security clearance As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer , you will: Drive the development of the control electronics at the heart of our system solutions Influence the development of new product requirements through consulting with customers, our business development team and across engineering disciplines Guide the evolution of the conceptual and detailed design phases through verification and certification Lead and perform prototype testing, integration testing, and design verification and validation testing Create detailed Verification and Validation plans and procedures for the testing of control electronics. Investigate and create new test methods and approaches.
