Creditable specialized experience includes: - Dealing with variables such as availability of materials, relationships with other programs, and cost/benefit considerations. - Developing guidance for applying supply policy instructions and resolving complex implementation issues and questions across various levels. - Experience with transportation programs, functions, distribution center operations and automated systems, and regulations to meet urgent mission needs. - Experience using marketing analysis and supplier capabilities to project and support customer requirements. - Experience with retail and inventory management functions, material coordination, awaiting parts (AWP/MICAP) procedures, supporting repair programs and local purchase/manufacture processes. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
