About the role

Grade Level (for internal use): 12 The Team: The Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) provides Data & Distribution services to data producers within S&P Global. Our team values innovation and collaboration, striving to optimize data operations and distribution processes to meet the evolving needs of our business partners. Responsibilities and Impact: Design and implement customized file configurations tailored to client needs. Provide expert technical troubleshooting and problem-solving for API integrations. Deliver technical consultancy to facilitate smooth API integration processes, and data sharing into warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP BigQuery and Databricks. Lead client migration projects from legacy systems to our Data Delivery platform. Champion process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency. Manage monthly KPI reporting, generating insights from operational metrics to drive performance improvements. Identify and specify application issues, collaborating with Product & Development teams for improvements. Engage proactively with senior clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Facilitate the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning within the team.

Requirements

  • Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in API integration and programming skills in Python, Java, JSON, SQL, XML.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP BigQuery and Databricks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a technical troubleshooting background.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with operational tooling and automation techniques.
  • Proficient understanding of software systems and enterprise application development.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps, Splunk, Salesforce, MS Excel, and PowerBI.
  • Ability to generate insights from operational metrics and drive performance improvements.
