Administrative Officer

About the role

You will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Office of the Commanding Officer, Code 120200, Mission Support Division of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05/10) or pay band (NO-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Formulating, presenting, and executing multi-million dollar direct and indirect budgets within a Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) revolving fund environment; 2) Developing and analyzing complex financial statements and management reports to advise executive leadership on resource requirements, including space allocations and infrastructure needs; 3) Acting as the primary operational liaison with external support divisions to streamline cross-functional workflows and institutional processes; 4) Directing division-level comprehensive human resources programs, leading a diverse staff across procurement, budget, personnel, and clerical fields; and 5) Developing organizational plans and determining procurement resource requirements to support evolving projects and division workloads.
