Review draft financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and consistency with client records
Prepare and review consolidated and group company accounts
Review draft audited financial statements and liaise with audit teams to resolve queries
Assist with advisory assignments and wider client service projects
Review corporation tax computations for accuracy and compliance
Monitor statutory filing deadlines and oversee Companies House submissions
Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and obtain additional information
Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to maintain high standards of service delivery
Supervise and review the work of junior and senior team members
Manage a portfolio of clients and monitor work-in-progress across assignments
Track budgets, team performance, and identify any potential overruns or write-offs
Support debt management and cash collection processes where required
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues on accounting matters
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and accounting standards
About You Fully ACA or ACCA qualified
Strong experience preparing single entity and consolidated year-end financial statements
Experience working with accounts prepared for audit
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Client-focused and commercially aware
Able to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities effectively
Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is desirable
Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards would be advantageous
