Draft and negotiate investment management agreements and related fund documentation across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on private funds in the UK and Middle East region.
Provide legal support on regulatory inquiries affecting private fund structures and deliver clear, practical guidance to internal teams.
Support lawyers responsible for private fund products, ensuring consistent and compliant advice across fund structures, strategies, and distribution channels.
Manage and instruct external counsel, including reviewing and summarising legal and regulatory advice relating to private equity, private credit, and other alternative investment strategies for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to contribute to effective legal risk management, fund governance, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Law degree with compliance with all relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.
Experience in a law firm or in-house role within financial services, ideally with exposure to private equity, private credit, real assets, or other alternative investment funds.
Strong experience drafting and reviewing private fund documentation and commercial agreements, including preparing clear summaries and analyses for internal audiences.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced private funds environment.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
