Act as primary administrative point of contact for U.S. legal function
Maintain and coordinate file and records management
Draft, review, revise, and finalize correspondence, form agreements, corporate governance documents (e.g., minutes), and certain filings
Coordinating mail, courier services, and receipt of notice of filings/service through CT corp., including lawsuits
Manage attorney calendars, meeting scheduling and logistics, deadline scheduling, and travel
Manage legal and billing software vendors, including CounselLink and LexisNexis
Track historical legal vendor information, rates, discounts; conduct related analysis
Assist with the development and management of legal budget, as well as prepare and submit expense reports, monthly and quarterly reports
Support surety bonds, UCC filings, and related processes
Assist with hearing and trial preparation and special projects, such as litigation, transactional matters, and document productions

You will work out of our Refinery Business Center building (LEED Silver), built in 2010, located in Commerce City, CO, adjacent to Denver
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs

We are seeking a Legal Assistant in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will provide lead administrative support for our U.S. legal office, including document drafting and review, providing attorney support, managing digital and physical files, and managing invoicing and payment processes. This role entails multi-tasking, and requires exceptional communication, inter-personal skills, writing skills, collaboration, and teamwork, often in a time-sensitive environment.
Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000 annually and an annual incentive program
