Position Summary: The Momentary is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial sales leader to drive earned revenue across concerts and culinary experiences. This role is central to advancing a more disciplined, revenue-driven model, ensuring that high-demand programs fully realize their financial potential while maintaining the Momentary's commitment to access and community. This position will lead the development of a direct sales function, focused on converting audience demand into revenue through group sales, premium experiences, and strategic partnerships. Principal Responsibilities: Revenue Generation & Strategy Lead sales strategy across concerts and music programming, chef dinners and culinary experiences Develop and execute a group sales program targeting corporations, social groups, and regional audiences Build tiered sales offerings including VIP and premium upgrades, reserved seating and hospitality packages, and bundled food, beverage, and experiential add-ons Partner with programming and operations teams to align pricing, packaging, and inventory with demand Direct Sales Execution Proactively identify, cultivate, and close sales opportunities across corporate clients and local/regional businesses, social groups, associations, affinity organizations, and high-net-worth individuals and concierge networks Establish a pipeline-driven sales approach, including outbound outreach, relationship management, and conversion tracking Develop repeatable sales playbooks for concerts, dinners, and rentals Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with: Hospitality team on sales of private events, corporate rentals, and social bookings Marketing to align campaigns with sales targets and conversion goals Programming to shape offerings that meet audience demand Development to ensure alignment between philanthropic support and earned revenue Support sales-related components of sponsorship and naming opportunities as premium visibility platforms Performance Management & Reporting Own revenue targets and sales KPIs across all assigned categories Track and report on conversion rates and pipeline performance, group sales volume and revenue contribution, premium upgrade adoption and per capita spend Continuously refine strategy based on performance data and audience behavior Qualifications and Skills: 5-10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in live entertainment, hospitality, or event venues Proven success in building or scaling a direct sales function Strong relationship-building and closing skills with both corporate and individual clients Experience packaging and selling premium or tiered experiences Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action Entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly accountable Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
