Location: Our Office in Milan Department: Studio Production LuxE Working Model : Hybrid Contract Type: Fix Term. 1 year contract Here's a breakdown of what you'll be doing: Write and oversee accurate, engaging, and commercially effective product descriptions for NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER womenswear and menswear, maintaining an elevated editorial tone across daily arrivals and key launches while working with physical product. Lead quality control processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand tone of voice across all copy output, and assist with team scheduling and workload planning. Provide structured feedback, mentorship, and guidance to junior and mid-level editors, supporting their development while upholding high editorial standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Styling, Creative, Marketing, and Localization teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with brand and commercial objectives. Contribute to the evolution of tone-of-voice guidelines, seasonal messaging frameworks, and editorial best practices. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiencies, and content processes within the Studio team. Participate in and help lead creative workshops, brand training sessions, and strategic projects that drive continuous team and brand development. The type of person we are looking for: Exceptional written and verbal skills in English, including an expert grasp of spelling, grammar and editorial standards Educated to degree level with a background in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing or fashion-related subjects 5+ years of professional experience in writing and editing within luxury fashion, ideally in e-commerce, digital media or editorial environments Demonstrated experience mentoring or guiding other writers, with strong leadership and feedback skills Deep proficiency in fashion, with extensive knowledge of industry trends, luxury brands, craftsmanship and textiles Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance creativity with performance-driven objectives Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with experience managing high-volume output and cross-team coordination Advanced familiarity with MS Office and CMS systems Experience in luxury fashion e-commerce or multi-brand environments is highly desirable
