SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Lead works with and oversees a small group of feed mill team members to produce good quality feed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversee production and maintenance team members in the assigned Feed Mill. Monitor mill equipment for proper operation. Unload ingredient trucks and record on appropriate documents. Monitor inventories and maintain records to ensure enough ingredients are on hand. Perform basic preventative maintenance and record on appropriate documents. Perform weekly housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned. Take production samples as needed. Take samples of incoming ingredients. Receive ingredients into the facility. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will not have supervisory responsibility.
