Who you'll work with This is an Actuarial Associate role working within the IR Pricing & Product Development team. As an Actuarial Associate you will further your actuarial development as part of a large and diverse organization that offers opportunities to learn and contribute to the overall business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your technical and business skills to solve complex issues through various techniques, including the development and maintenance of actuarial models.
  • Understand the regulatory environment and other standards required for product development, financial reporting and other key actuarial functions.
  • Collaborate with senior actuarial talent in delivering the right solutions, focused on driving value for Corebridge Financial and its customers.
  • Be detailed oriented, including properly documenting your work in accordance with Corebridge Financial and actuarial standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or other quantitative field
  • Completion of three or more SOA exams and three VEEs
  • 2+ years of actuarial work experience
  • Highly detailed oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office especially Access and Excel
  • Programming skill in SAS, Visual Basic, SQL, or C++ is highly preferred
  • Experience with modeling software is required
