The SVP, Strategic Planning will own the process to get real, rounded and actionable insights. These results are achieved by: Lead Strategic Insights: Own the process of developing actionable insights, inspiring teams to achieve strategic excellence. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Creative Leaders, Group Account Directors, and subject matter experts to ensure cohesive and innovative strategies. Shape and Adapt Planning: Continuously evolve the strategic planning department to meet the demands of the digital space, integrating traditional planning with modern marketing knowledge. Mentor and Educate: Guide and inspire planning team members, clients, and the agency on emerging trends and best practices. Drive Execution: Create and implement roadmaps that guide the execution of all planning-based programs, ensuring practical activation and influence on the process. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Advertising required; agency experience a must 15 years (or more) of Account Planning experience Seasoned leader not too far divorced from being the all-star player-you've had a stint at the helm of the department or managing a large account with a sizeable team Consensus builder with the vision to create roadmaps that guide execution of all planning-based programs Deep appreciation of the digital space; practical activation experience required Understanding that planning is not an abstraction, bringing proven techniques to influence the process and be at the heart of the work Master storyteller with a compelling communication style that attracts others Educate, council and inspire planning team members, as well as clients and agency, on emerging trends OUR CULTURAL BELIEFS: Patient Minded I act with the patient's best interest in mind.
