In this role, you will lead the end-to-end engineering and operational management of AI Platform services, working at the forefront of M365 AI technologies while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across the business.
Lead the engineering and enterprise deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot, including tenant configuration, feature enablement, and licensing optimisation
Design, build, and enhance custom Copilot solutions using Copilot Studio, integrating enterprise data, knowledge bases, and business workflows
Develop plugins, connectors, and Microsoft Graph integrations to enable seamless and secure interactions with internal and third-party systems
Own the operational lifecycle of Copilot services, including monitoring, incident management, performance optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Implement and maintain robust data access, security, and governance controls aligned with organisational, regulatory, and responsible AI standards
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers and specialists, fostering a high-performance, innovation-led culture
Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to drive adoption, deliver measurable value, and align Copilot capabilities with ICON's wider AI and digital strategy
Your Profile:
To succeed in this role, you will bring deep technical expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem, combined with strong leadership and a passion for leveraging AI to transform how organisations operate.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure engineering, with strong knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Graph
5+ years experience in software engineering with a track record of leading and developing engineering teams.
Hands-on experience deploying and managing Microsoft Copilot or similar enterprise AI productivity platforms
Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and manage enterprise-scale technology services from deployment through to optimisation
Experience implementing security, governance, and compliance controls within Microsoft environments (e.g. DLP, sensitivity labels, conditional access)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (required).
Microsoft certifications are highly valued, including MS-900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals), MS-700 (Managing Microsoft Teams), MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator), AI-102 (Azure AI Engineer), and PL-200/PL-600 (Power Platform).
