Design, develop and execute automated test scripts for API and UI automation testing.
Collaborate with business analysis/product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Identify, document and track software defects in Jira and work with developers to resolve issues.
Perform regression testing to ensure that existing functionalities are not impacted by new code changes.
Well versed in Agile process and ceremonies.
Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to the team.
Continuously improve the automation process and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What we require:
5+ years of experience in functional and automation testing in Cards/Payment/Banking/Digital domain.
Good exposure or knowledge of BDD, TDD and Data driven framework development.
Hands-on experience in UI automation testing using Selenium, Java, SQL, Cucumber, TestNG and automated reporting (Extent).
Hands-on experience in API automation testing using Rest assured or Karate framework.
Strong understanding of development and testing processes such as SDLC, STLC and testing methodologies.
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), JIRA, Postman, Swagger, Splunk, Confluence.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with ability to seamlessly liaise with counterparts.
Strong experience in Agile ways of working and Scrum methodologies
Good to have:
Experience in testing micro-services, Spring-boot Rest template for API automation.
Experience in framework development from scratch.
Experience in performance testing and tools such as LoadRunner.
ISTQB/SAFe certifications.
