Dallas, TX, Boca Raton, Atlanta, GA, or San Diego, CA - Hybrid role, 2 day a week in the office Job Summary The Senior Network Architect i s a senior‑level technical role responsible for designing, supporting, and optimizing complex infrastructure environments, including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, networking, and telephony systems. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise systems while leading automation initiatives and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate brings broad, hands‑on expertise across multiple technologies, excels in troubleshooting complex issues, recommends strategic enhancements, and partners effectively with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives. Job Responsibilities Monitor systems daily to ensure the availability, performance, and integrity of hardware, servers, storage, and critical processes; review system logs and verify successful backup completion. Conduct continuous security monitoring to detect, analyze, and remediate potential threats or intrusions. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade servers, virtualization platforms, and network components in accordance with established standards and operational requirements. Manage and optimize infrastructure applications, monitoring solutions, and asset management tools. Perform ongoing performance tuning, firmware updates, and capacity optimization for servers and data center technologies. Provide support for telephony systems (SIP) and proxy services (NGINX) to ensure reliable voice and network functionality. Leverage monitoring platforms such as Nagios and New Relic to proactively identify and resolve system issues. Partner with enterprise architecture teams to develop and implement server build standards and automation frameworks. Lead automation initiatives using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, and GitHub to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency. Participate in incident response efforts, root cause analyses, and post‑incident reviews, implementing long‑term corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation of system configurations, processes, and change activities within ServiceNow.
