We are looking for a detail-oriented Expense Analyst to oversee and manage employee expenses and ensure compliance with company policies. This role is part of the Travel & Expense team, a key function that supports hundreds of daily active travelers and maintains high visibility across various teams at Anduril.
You will be communicating with several employees & managers on a weekly basis to help educate on proper policies and procedures. As we continue to grow, your role will help define long-term audit processes and procedures for future team members.
Responsibilities
Review & audit company travel expenses in high volumes daily.
Ensure policy compliance and accurate coding of expenses (project codes and GL categories).
Audit expenses for non-compliance with Anduril policies, fraud, duplicate expense submissions, etc. ensuring that employees are using the company funds appropriately.
Support with Month End close by tracking the number of open expenses that are waiting for manager approval or the employee to complete the expense in order to reduce the monthly accruals.
Respond to internal messages/emails/Jira tickets in a timely manner - this role is customer support in nature.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1 years of experience with T&E reporting and processing
Proven ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data from diverse and complex sources into actionable insights
Strong MS Excel skills
Experience working with advanced AI platforms such as Claude, Palantir, or similar technologies is highly preferred
Critical-thinker and problem-solver
Customer-centered mindset
Team player - no task is beneath you
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
You have a strong bias for action and like to work with high autonomy
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
US Salary Range
$77,000 - $102,000 USD
