About the role
As the Design Manager, you are accountable for leading and overseeing the design team within your domain, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maintaining a high standard of design quality. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership - Lead and manage the design team within your domain/sub-domain ensuring effective collaboration and communication within and between chapter teams and build strong stakeholder relationships to increase the impact and reach of design. Development - Continuously explore emerging design trends, conduct research, and experiment with new design methodologies to drive product and service excellence and inspire the team. Strategy - Operationalise design strategies into daily activity for the design team Research and Testing - Ensure team members apply best practices in research and user testing within projects Design Solutions - Stay across all design outputs and strategies to align and inform all design work. End to End Experience - Track in-flight and upcoming design work across all stages of the end to end experience. Quality and Consistency - Enforce high standards for design quality across all projects, conducting regular reviews and critiques to ensure the output meets both user needs and business objectives . Inclusive Design -Advocate for the importance of inclusive design and provide training & support to the team on inclusive design principles & practices Design System - Support the design team in implementing the design system consistently across projects, ensuring they have the resources and training to use the system effectively. Stakeholder Engagement and Influence - Manage stakeholder relationships, facilitating clear communication on project goals and design progress, and collaborating to align design team goals with business objectives . Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 10+ years experience working as a product designer or UX/UI designer, with minimum 3 years+ in a leadership role Experience within a finance or service industries Demonstrated ability to partner and successfully work with multiple disciplines and complex teams and demonstrate the value of design Excellent working knowledge of the design process, experience design methodologies and principles Demonstrated strong experience working in Agile, using agile tools & methods Strong ability to independently perform the essential capabilities required in this role Proven experience setting and using design processes and tools to digitise experiences Qualification Requirements Preference for tertiary qualification in related industry T HE BENEFITS AND PERKS We appreciate and reward our colleagues who do great work every day - from excelling for our customers, to taking ownership of an issue to get it resolved.
