We are recruiting for a mission-driven Electrocardiograph Technician to join our team! We're with you for life's journey. Our Values Respect | Belonging | Accountability | Transparency Department Heart Station Job Summary Under minimal supervision, performs electrocardiograph (EKG) and other related examinations as ordered. Prepares and secures electrodes to ensure interpretable results; explains methods and procedure to patient; evaluates patient's total condition throughout the test. Submits EKG, related tests, and arrhythmia monitor results to physician for interpretation, types and files interpretations, enters reports into the computer, and maintains patient logs. Participates in the arrhythmia detector monitoring program, prepares monitor information for physician evaluation, and sends record of patient monitor usage for billing to central office for processing. Sets up and ensures proper functioning of testing and monitoring equipment. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Essential Functions : Performing electrocardiographs (EKGs) (35%) Reconciling/processing EKGs for physicians (35%) Coordinating appointments/orders with patients/physicians/other employees (30%) Work Experience : Experience as a technician performing electrocardiographs or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Licenses : BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Fluent in English (written and spoken) Shift Days (United States of America) Work Type Regular (0.9 FTE) Salary $21.00 - $26.24 / hr
