To thrive in this role, you will need:
A minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID
All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework
Aged Care experience preferred
You will also have:
A passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
An understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence
Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values

Your opportunity
As a Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will provide high quality care and support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.

Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding
Support residents with mobility and physical assistance
Provide companionship and emotional support
Monitor and document residents' progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
