PEC Leader - Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide leadership and strategic support to one of the Equifax region's Product Engineering Center(PEC) program
• Identify large and highly complex technical projects / initiatives as well as solutions. Manage a portfolio of technical organizational projects that span across a large business unit or region.
• Facilitate and lead solution architecture and planning
• Oversee and provide guidance to a team of Professionals performing project and program-related implementation tasks and distribute workload based on employee bandwidth, capability, and business prioritization
• Lead design, implementation and management of highly complex technical and strategic projects. Work with technical and BU leadership to deliver detailed designs for business cases and projects across the company.
• Maintain the efficiency of important aspects of the project and program management processes such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment
• Work closely with different teams to identify, come up with solutions and an implementation plan to increase efficiencies and ensure quality delivery
• May provide guidance to junior project team members.
• Perform project risk management analysis and advise on remediation actions.
• Monitor and communicate project measures of success, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and senior management.
• Present solutions that will have the greatest impact on revenue and client satisfaction.
• Perform Project Risk Management analysis and recommend remediation actions.
• What experience you need
• 10+ years of experience leading a complex technology program
• Governance of handling of sensitive personal data (PII, PHI)
• Proven understanding of cloud security principles
• Cloud-first, cloud-native engineering proficiency (Preferably Google Cloud)
• Extensive experience in managing people managers, technical leads in a large enterprise environment preferably for Americas/Canada region
