Job Description Summary
Ensures that maintenance parts and PPE inventories are secure; properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Maintains controls and inventory levels for maintenance parts and PPE. Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing inventory is correct. Conducts analysis of inventory levels and coordinates with production and maintenance requirements. Initiates and conducts computer transaction entries and manages transactions to maintain inventory records. Performs stocking and issuing of parts within the storeroom areas to maintenance personnel.
Job Description
Purchased Materials Received
Review and print PO's with the accompanying identification and contact information. Receives purchased material and checks PO against packing slip for accuracy. Enters receiving and inventory information into the designated inventory systems. Properly stores incoming material after receipt. Issues returns for unused material per SOP guidelines
Inventory System is Up-to-Date
Conducts daily entering or removal of all parts in the inventory management system as required. Performs cycle counts to assure and maintain inventory accuracy. Reports stock balance discrepancies to supervisor and performs the resolution. Takes physical inventory to identify reorder needs for supervisor approval. Maintains proper inventory levels of the PPE storage areas. Delivers PPE to the departments as requested.
Requested Parts are Delivered
Locates stock and delivers items to their destination outside of storeroom upon request. Ensures delivery to maintenance of the correct parts. This may require searching vendor manuals or calling vendors for all older equipment details.
Storeroom is Inspection Ready
Cleans and organizes all storerooms and PPE locations as directed, including sweeping, scraping, etc. Maintains organized all spare parts storerooms and PPE locations to ensure quick and easy access to spare parts. Complies with cGMP requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
