Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Meet and communicate with homeowners at the showroom or online.
• Understand client needs, lifestyle requirements, budget and renovation scope.
• Prepare space planning, layout proposals and design concepts.
• Create 2D layouts and 3D design drawings/renderings.
• Coordinate with custom furniture designers for cabinet, wardrobe, kitchen and feature wall designs.
• Assist in material selection, colour matching and product presentation.
• Support showroom walk-in customer reception and consultation.
• Work with the project team on site measurement, site coordination and installation details.
• Understand and follow Singapore renovation requirements, site conditions and practical construction methods.
• Support online marketing content when needed, such as project explanation, design sharing or client case presentation.
• Follow up with potential customers and support sales conversion.

Requirements

• Experience or education background in Interior Design, Architecture, Renovation, Furniture Design or related field.
• Familiar with Singapore residential renovation market, including HDB, Condo, Landed or resale renovation.
• Able to communicate in both English and Mandarin, as the role requires communication with English-speaking clients, Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Able to use design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Enscape, Lumion, Photoshop or similar tools.
• Understand basic site work, renovation process, carpentry details and construction coordination.
• Good sense of space planning, colour matching and home design.
• Responsible, honest, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Positive attitude, good communication skills and strong ownership mindset.
• Able to work independently and also cooperate with sales, design and installation teams.
• Fresh graduates with strong design ability and learning attitude are welcome to apply.
• Preferred
• Experience in customised furniture, kitchen cabinet, wardrobe, feature wall or full-home renovation projects.
• Familiar with Chinese-style custom furniture systems and Singapore local renovation practice.
• Experience in showroom sales or client consultation.
• Able to create social media-friendly design content is a plus.

CASAWAVE is a growing custom furniture and renovation company in Singapore, specialising in customised cabinets, kitchen systems, wardrobe systems, feature walls, bathroom vanities, doors, wall panels and full-home renovation solutions. We are looking for a motivated Interior Designer / ID Designer to join our showroom and project team. The ideal candidate should understand Singapore residential renovation, be able to communicate with homeowners, and work closely with our custom furniture designers, sales team, suppliers and installation team. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys client communication, home design, site coordination and wants to grow together with a fast-moving design-and-build company.
