Job Summary
The HR Sr. Officer is responsible for delivering HR services and supporting day-to-day HR operations. This role assists in recruitment, onboarding, and employee support, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision. The HR Representative provides hands-on operational and administrative support to the HRBP team, ensuring efficient execution of core HR processes. This role focuses on reducing transactional workload, improving data accuracy, and supporting payroll and HR systems processes so HRBPs can focus on strategic business initiatives.
Responsibilities
Act as day to day HR Support for assigned employee base
Act as the primary support resource for HRBPs, assisting with day-to-day operational tasks
Prepare and execute HR transactions in Workday and other systems (e.g., job changes, compensation updates, transfers)
Draft communications and documentation to support business and HR initiatives
Ensure timely follow-up on HR action items and requests
Serve as a liaison between HRBPs and Payroll to support accurate and timely processing
Validate data changes between HRIS (e.g., Workday) and payroll systems (e.g., ADP) to ensure alignment
Reduce manual rework by leveraging reporting and system tools to capture employee changes
Identify discrepancies and escalate issues proactively for resolution
Support efforts to streamline payroll-related processes and minimize duplicate tracking
Run and analyze standard reports (e.g., change reports, headcount, audit reports)
Monitor data integrity across HR systems and address inconsistencies
Support audits and compliance checks related to employee data and payroll
Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR processes, pay, benefits, and data
Provide guidance on system use (e.g., Workday self-service)
Escalate complex or sensitive issues to HR Manager as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Minimum 3 years of HR, payroll, or HR operations experience
Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and payroll systems (ADP or similar)
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
