Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory items. Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
Prepare 'kits' for the production team by gathering all necessary parts and hardware listed on manufacturing orders, ensuring the assembly line has everything they need to start work immediately
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Procurement Collaboration: Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure accuracy of timelines, forecasting and deliveries of components and materials.
Documentation and Reporting: Generate inventory reports, including stock levels, usage, and trends. Maintain documentation related to inventory processes and transactions
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory control procedures and systems. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal security protocols for handling sensitive materials. Safeguard inventory against theft, damage, and unauthorized access
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations. Communicate inventory-related issues and recommendations to management
What You Bring To Us
Prior experience in a stockroom, retail inventory, or warehouse setting is a plus, but not required. A background in a fast-paced environment where you had to track parts or supplies is ideal
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
