POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Accountant to join our F inance team. This role involves assisting with financial transactions recording, communicating with external stakeholders , ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and collaborating with the finance team to meet deadline s .

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Work with the team on the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Credit Card and receipts, and post payments in Net Suite
• Process accounts receivable, accounts payable transactions , communicate with external stakeholders
• Support the finance team with auditing, inventory and closing processes
• Collaborate with the order processing team to ensure orders are accurately managed and closed on time.
• Performs additional duties and ad hoc projects as needed to support departmental and organizational objectives

Requirements

• Degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• First e xperience s in accounting , preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles ( HGB, Steuerrecht , IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software ( NetSuite ) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities as well as bookkeeping procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to be poised and polished under pressure
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams with excellent written and verbal English communication skills. German skills are a plus.
• Salary Range *: 51-58k EUR annually
