Responsibilities

  • Months 1-3
  • Own core Product Ops workflows: account provisioning, content creation, and product development support for EPD teams
  • Develop deep knowledge of how Adaptive's products work, how customers use them, and where the operational friction lives
  • Start identifying automation opportunities while doing the work hands-on
  • Months 3-6
  • Build and ship automations that eliminate previously manual processes - Agent skills, API integrations, internally-built tools and apps
  • Set up monitoring and playbooks so automated workflows are reliable and maintainable
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering to productize the most impactful automations
  • Months 6+
  • Own the automation roadmap for Product Ops - decide what to build next based on where the team spends the most time
  • Partner with product teams to evaluate new opportunities - build quick prototypes, run experiments, and generate signal on what's worth investing in before engineering commits
  • Lead strategic content initiatives: prototype new product ideas, collect market feedback on potential product investment areas
  • Help set the playbook for how Product Ops evolves from execution support to a strategic partner for EPD teams as Adaptive goes multi-product

Requirements

  • AI-native. You don't just "follow AI trends" - you use AI tools daily to get real work done. You've built things with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Replit, or similar. You can show us what you've shipped.
  • Builder mentality. You use AI to rapidly build working prototypes and internal tools. You're comfortable using AI coding agents, can work with APIs, and can ship small tools end-to-end. You don't need to be a software engineer - but you need to be dangerous enough to build things that work.
  • Strategically ambitious. You're not looking for a job where you do the same thing every day. You want to figure out how to make entire categories of work disappear, and you think about how your work connects to the bigger picture.
  • Operationally excellent. You can manage a queue, hit deadlines, and not drop balls - even while you're simultaneously thinking about how to automate the queue out of existence. The best builders earn trust by being reliable first.
  • Fast learner, low ego. You're comfortable starting at the ground floor of a function you may not have done before. You ask good questions, pi

Additional Information

About Adaptive Security Adaptive is a cybersecurity startup on a mission to stop AI-powered cyberattacks. In December 2025, the company announced an $81M Series B led by NVIDIA and Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from Capital One Ventures, Citi Ventures, and continued support from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), the OpenAI Startup Fund, and Abstract Ventures. The round marked NVIDIA's first AI cybersecurity investment. Adaptive was founded by Brian Long and Andrew Jones, repeat entrepreneurs who have built and scaled category-defining companies. Brian and Andrew previously co-founded Attentive, which grew to more than $500M in annual revenue and a $10B+ valuation, and TapCommerce, which was acquired by Twitter. Together, they bring deep experience building high-growth, product-led businesses at massive scale as Adaptive builds the security layer for the AI era. Trusted by leading banks, technology companies, and healthcare organizations, Adaptive protects teams from emerging threats like deepfakes, smishing, and AI-powered voice scams. With rapid enterprise adoption and a $200B+ market ahead, the company is just getting started. About This Role The Product Ops team is the operational backbone of Adaptive's product org - we keep the business running by handling content creation, product development support for engineering, product, and design (EPD) teams, and account provisioning operations across all of our products. Today that work is largely manual. We want to change that. We're hiring an AI Product Operations Associate to help re-define how this team operates. You'll start by learning the core functions of Product Ops - account provisioning, content production, EPD collaboration - and then you'll be the person who figures out how to automate, streamline, and ultimately transform those workflows using AI. Beyond operational execution, the Product Ops team is also transitioning to become a strategic arm of the product org - a team that works shoulder-to-shoulder with PMs, designers, and engineers to evaluate new opportunities, prototype ideas, and run experiments before we commit engineering resources. The person in this role will help shape how the team executes on this strategic work. This isn't a "sit in the queue and process tickets" role. We're looking for someone who sees a repetitive process and immediately thinks, "I can build something to do this." Within your first few months, you'll deeply understand how our operations work. Within six months, you'll be spending most of your time building automations, prototyping new tools, and partnering with product teams to explore what's next.
