Description of Work This Casework Associate I position is located in Morganton, NC at WorkSource West in Burke County. This position serves individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing and/or deaf-blind across several counties within the catchment area. The primary purpose of this position, under the supervision of the Unit manager or designee, is to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their career and independent living goals by providing counseling, developing individualized plans, and coordinating services to help consumers overcome barriers to their disabilities and/or obtain and maintain gainful employment. Job responsibilities include the following: - Evaluating professional diagnostic records and data to determine eligibility and required services - Developing and implementing individualized plans of rehabilitation services for eligible consumers - Arranging for appropriate evaluations and other services as indicated on the Individualized Plan for Employment - Interviewing consumers for the purpose of assessing need and overseeing the provision of planned services - Engaging in various administrative duties including case service documentation, caseload management, staff and other administrative meetings - Participating in training and professional development activities Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range $32,287 - $56,502 Recruitment Range $32,287 - $48,000 **Position is eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule to include weekly onsite work hours** Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.
