Responsibilities

  • Analyze diverse stakeholder needs (e.g. product, safety, legal) and translate them into system requirements and cross-domain system-of-systems architecture.
  • Proactively work with developers from different domains to design an overarching architecture and facilitate its deployment along the development process.
  • Analyze existing systems and propose improvements that increase automation of emergent functionality.
  • Challenge and refine our existing methods to make them leaner and more effective.
  • What will help you to fulfill your role
  • Experience across various system applications and strong system analysis skills.
  • Experience with safety-critical analysis in autonomous systems and a strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g. ISO-26262, SOTIF ISO 21448)
  • Ability to evaluate existing system structures quickly and spot improvement areas.
  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering methods (knowledge of software architecture methods is a plus).
  • Skills with typical tools for requirements engineering and architecture, e.g. Codebeamer and SysML.
  • Good understanding of embedded systems and real-time environments.
  • Good understanding of distributed systems with a systematic approach, such as System of Systems.
  • Strong communication skills, especially your ability to simplify complexity, facilitate discussions, conduct interviews, and moderate in interdisciplinary teams. Therefore, you need fluent English language skills. German language skills are a plus.
