Mainframe Operation Lead at Kyndryl are key in helping revolutionize the way we operate complex computer systems. As a Computer Operator you will be on the technical frontline - performing batch operations as per service agreements, analyzing first-level issues across systems, and resolving/routing issues as appropriate. You will also have the opportunity to develop support system management processes specific to customer requirements, ensuring that we provide the highest level of service to our customers. Requirements

• Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 9 to 12 years of experience in Mainframe Operations with strong exposure to scheduling
• Strong hands-on experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, CA-7, Tivoli Workload Scheduler
• Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language) including job setup, debugging, and optimization
• Solid experience working in z/OS environment (TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JES2/JES3)
• Expertise in batch processing, job monitoring, and failure handling
• Strong understanding of job dependencies, workflows, and scheduling calendars
• Experience with ITIL-based service management (incident, problem, change)
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues efficiently
• Knowledge of datasets, GDGs, and storage concepts
• Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
• Experience in workload automation and scheduling optimization
• Knowledge of mainframe subsystems such as DB2, IMS, and CICS
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like OMEGAMON or Mainview
• Understanding of security tools such as RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret
• Experience with file transfer tools (Connect:Direct, FTP, NDM)
• Exposure to enterprise environments with SLA-driven delivery models
