Administer and manage enterprise analytics and application platforms across development, test, and production environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
Manage role-based access controls, user provisioning, and license allocation, ensuring secure and compliant access to systems and data.
Monitor system performance, usage, storage, and availability, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Support installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of application platforms with minimal disruption to users.
Troubleshoot application, user access, and data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolution.
Maintain administrative dashboards and reporting on system usage, access, and performance metrics.
Support automated workflows for user access and system administration processes.
Ensure security configurations (e.g., authentication, access control, and compliance requirements) are properly implemented and maintained.
Support backup, recovery, and operational continuity processes for application platforms.
Coordinate system outages, maintenance activities, and communications with stakeholders and end users.
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and development teams to support deployments, integrations, and platform operations.
Maintain system documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
What You Will Bring With You:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Candidate must reside in the U.S. and be able to support onsite work in the Reston, VA area as needed
Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years
6+ years of experience administering enterprise applications or analytics platforms
What We Would Like You To Bring With You:
Experience supporting federal government clients, particularly DHS or similar agencies
Current or recent Public Trust
3+ years of experience managing user access, roles, and permissions in enterprise systems
2+ years of experience supporting analytics or reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau or similar tools)
2+ years of experience working with cloud-based platforms (AWS or similar)
2+ years of experience monitoring system performance and implementing optimizations
2+ years of experience troubleshooting application and user access issues
2+ years of experience supporting system deployments, upgrades, or release processes
Familiarity with platforms such as Databricks, Tableau Server, or similar analytics tools
Experience with identity and access management tools (e.g., SSO, RBAC frameworks)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Understanding of data governance and security requirements
Relevant certifications (Tableau, AWS, or similar)

The Work:
ICF seeks an Application Administrator to support a federal data and analytics program, focused on administration, monitoring, and optimization of analytics platforms and enterprise applications.
This role is responsible for managing application environments, user access, and platform performance across analytics and reporting tools. The Application Administrator will ensure systems are secure, available, and optimized to support business users and mission-critical operations.
