Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience -or- high school diploma or equivalent experience with a minimum of two years of working experience.
- Good understanding of laboratory safety, chemical safety, and general safety practices.
- Ability to learn new material quickly and adapt to changing situations.
- Capability to make decisions and work independently.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills (Windows software) and general working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and daily responsibilities.
- Direct industry experience.
- Environmental experience.
- Experience running safety committees.
- Vendor management experience.
- The typical pay range for this role is:
- Minimum: $27.07 USD per hour
- Maximum: $36.63 USD per hour
- This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the California-based position. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as experience, skills, and location.
