Position Overview Role Title: Senior Solution Architect (Pre-Sales) Location: Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid/Office-based) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent (正社員 - Shachain) Language Requirements: Native-level/Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and Business-level English Key Responsibilities (職務内容) As a Solution Architect, you will serve as the premier technical authority during the enterprise sales cycle. Your day-to-day activities will be dynamic, ranging from delivering high-level strategic pitches to C-level executives (CIOs/CTOs) to executing hands-on technical proofs. Technical Evaluation & Evangelism: Act as an IT expert and technology evangelist. Guide corporate customers through their technical evaluation process by delivering high-quality architectural presentations, technical demonstrations, and interactive workshops. Solution Design: Deeply analyze customers' functional and non-functional technical requirements to architect robust, scalable solutions on the OutSystems platform. Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives to craft compelling, high-impact proposals and RFPs/RFIs that align perfectly with the customer's business objectives. Architectural Alignment: Evaluate the customer's existing IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture to clearly demonstrate the strategic fit and seamless integration of OutSystems within their ecosystem. Proof of Concept (PoC) Execution: Collaborate with the OutSystems Solution Delivery team to design and execute successful, high-value Proofs of Concept that validate the platform's capabilities to stakeholders. Partner Enablement: Work hand-in-hand with the Channel Sales team to develop and manage partner enablement programs. Provide technical training, architectural guidance, and resources to alliance partners to scale their delivery capabilities. Global Liaison: Serve as a reliable, primary technical liaison to ensure clear, precise communication between local customers, partner teams, and global Product and Support engineering teams. Public Relations & Brand Advocacy: Represent OutSystems Japan as a technical keynote speaker at industry events, developer communities, and partner seminars. Review, proofread, and localize official technical announcements for the Japanese market. Qualifications & Requirements (応募資格・条件) We are looking for a professional who possesses a rare blend of deep technical acumen, polished presentation skills, and strong business empathy. Professional Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a Pre-Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Senior Technical Consulting role within an enterprise software company. Core Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of modern web/mobile application development, database concepts, data modeling, enterprise integration patterns, and cloud architectures. Methodologies: Strong familiarity with modern software engineering practices, specifically Agile development methodologies. Communication & Presentation: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of translating complex technical concepts into easily understood, value-driven business terms for both technical teams and executive leadership. Market Insight: Deep insight into modern technical architectures, IT market trends, and competitive product positioning. Strong business acumen is highly valued. Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
