As the E&C Risk Governance Lead, you will have a multi-faceted role that has responsibility for managing and coordinating E&C risk management within SECO. You will also use your risk management experience to develop and continually improve E&C risk management and reporting.
You will work with SECO, SME legal leadership and relevant business/functional teams to identify and document potential and existing E&C risks, aiding Chief Ethics & Compliance Officers (CECO's) risk reporting to Shell's senior stakeholders.
More specifically, your role will include:
Manages fit-for-purpose risk management processes to support E&C risk reporting to handle complex and usual business activities/issues.
Maintain the documentation of the E&C risk heatmap/reporting and ensures that there is a clear audit trail in decisions on risk management.
Monitors changes in the E&C risk environment and the effectiveness of actions taken to manage identified risks.
Supports the VP E&C data, assurance & risk governance in preparing input to the CECO reporting to the Executive Committee, Audit & Risk Committee and relevant business/functional leadership as it relates to E&C risk management.
Support the VP E&C data, assurance & risk governance in preparing input to the Shell annual report.
Coordinates and works with E&C Managers, E&C Assurance and Data teams on SECO risk reporting processes and outcomes.
Coordinates and delivers E&C reporting to support regulatory requirements.
Gains insights and works within SECO and legal SMEs and proactively stays abreast of external regulatory developments to identify emerging risk trends.
What you bring:
Degree in Risk management, Finance or equivalent.
Mastery of risk and control methodology and application in businesses/functions.
Mastery in preparing reporting for senior management up to Executive Committee (EC) level.
Due to the global nature of the role, excellent English communication skills both written and verbal essential.
Ability to effectively challenge and influence whilst remaining commercially/bottom line focused.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills - ability to influence and contribute at a senior Global level and across multiple stakeholders/partners.
Excellent listening skills with the ability to identify common trends and underlying problems.
Resilient personality with proven focus and determination.
Experience working in dynamic, ambiguous and pressured environments requiring personal integrity, courage, independence and resilience.
