Lead ownership of Atlassian cloud service, ensuring the platform is secure, resilient and consistently delivers a high‑quality experience to colleagues across the organisation. Act as the subject matter expert for Atlassian services, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery and Trello, providing specialist guidance and direction to technology teams and stakeholders. Support identity and access management processes, ensuring permissions, authentication and access models operate smoothly in partnership with the IDAM team. Resolve complex service issues and coordinate incident response across internal teams and external partners and vendors to restore service quickly and effectively. Deliver platform improvements and new features, contributing to change initiatives, technology upgrades and strategic transformation programmes. Embed strong security and compliance controls, working with Security, Risk and Compliance teams to maintain safe and governed Atlassian services. Produce clear documentation and share knowledge across teams, helping build capability and strengthen operational maturity. Work collaboratively with colleagues across Architecture, Infrastructure, Security and Network functions to ensure aligned, end‑to‑end service delivery. Can act as a project manager from ideation process, influencing decisions to delivery and proactively look for opportunities and tools to improve the process. Focus on scalability, resilience, security, quality and continuous rigour to reduce technical debt. - In-depth and proven expertise in Atlassian product suite, including Jira, Confluence, Trello, Jira Product Discovery, Guard and Rovo, and end-to-end service troubleshooting. - In-depth and proven expertise in of Jira project configuration, including permission schemes, field configuration, screen configuration and workflows. - In-depth and proven expertise of Confluence space administration, including space and page permissions, template configuration and gadget configuration. - Strong understanding of JQL, including advanced JQL searches - Strong understanding of Jira Dashboards, including configuring filters and permissions. - Strong understanding of Atlassian APIs. - Extensive experience using specific third party apps in Jira and Confluence including Zephyr Squad, ScriptRunner, Rich Filters and Gliffy Diagrams. - Proven ability to analyse business and technical requirements to shape robust, scalable and secure collaboration solutions, ensuring strong alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards. - Excellent troubleshooting capability across distributed cloud services - Strong knowledge of cloud environments and managing enterprise platforms at scale. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions, risks and impacts to both technical and non technical stakeholders. - Ability to create clear, high quality documentation including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, standards, and recovery playbooks. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to drive resolution and root cause analysis to mitigate against incident reoccurrence.
