About the role
The Title Specialist processes car deals. This includes, but is not limited to, verifying costs for the accounting department and handling the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. Essential Duties for Automotive Title Clerk/Specialist: - Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions - Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts - Computes and records charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, etc. - Prepare tax and title documents to be registration in the state in which they will be titled - Assist in preparing ULC auction list - Research all stock numbers for close outs and titles - Call on lien releases - Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications for Automotive Title Clerk/Specialist: - Two+ related experience and/or training with automotive titling - Automotive Dealership experience preferred - Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills MileOne Autogroup is an equal opportunity employer and we maintain a drug free work environment.
