AECOM's Water Business Line is seeking a talented Water and Wastewater Project Manager with a passion for water, wastewater conveyance, treatment plant evaluation, design, and construction. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an established career serving as a client-facing project manager on regional and municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to immediately contribute to an established and successful water practice in the New England Area (Chelmsford, MA; Boston, MA; or Rocky Hill, CT) working on a diverse range of technically challenging water resources projects. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Lead multi-discipline and complex water and wastewater design projects from the planning through permitting and construction phases, including alternative delivery projects. Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects, to approved scope, budget, and schedule. Perform technical reviews and implement AECOM quality standards. Serve as a point of contact internally and externally for projects and clients in the New England Area. Develop and mentor mid-level and junior staff for career development. Have decision-making authority and direct others in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such. Lead business development activities, including pursuing new clients and projects and serving as leader of proposal efforts, including technical and cost pricing. Actively participate in water and wastewater organizations through presentations at conferences and volunteering. Travel to and/or work in Chelmsford, MA; Boston, MA; or Rocky Hill, CT may be required on a scheduled basis. Minimum Requirements: BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with 4+ years of related experience in water and/or wastewater treatment, pumping, and collection systems. Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 1 year. Valid U.S. Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.
