Responsibilities

  • Institutional Reporting & Compliance:
  • Federal Reporting: Lead the management of federally mandated reports, including IPEDS , ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

  • We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented analyst who is comfortable working with complex information and communicating effectively with colleagues across the institution.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in Institutional Research or a related field, with a strong familiarity with IPEDS and compliance-related projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • Technical Mastery: Strong skills in Excel and Google Suite. Experience with student information systems.
  • Preferred Tools: Knowledge of R, Python, Tableau , or Qualtrics is a significant plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work independently or as part of a team, handling confidential information with the highest level of discretion.

Job Description: Berklee is seeking an Institutional Research Analyst to join the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment, and Accreditation (OIRA). This position supports the advancement of Berklee's mission and strategy through the accurate collection, verification, and analysis of data used for compliance, accreditation, and decision support. Reporting to the Dean of Institutional Research, you will be responsible for the accurate collection, verification, and analysis of institutional data. You will serve as a key resource for compliance, accreditation, and decision support. You will manage federal mandated reporting such as IPEDS, support reporting needs for accreditation, state approval, and other compliance reporting and respond to data needs for assessment throughout the institution. This position can be in-person, hybrid, or primarily remote.
