We're looking for a passionate and intuitive Technical Recruiter to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role goes beyond simply filling vacancies - it's about scaling our EU-based teams to directly drive delivery of Squadron 42 and other major projects. You will play a key part in building sustainable talent pipelines, identifying exceptional technical talent, and ensuring every candidate has a world-class experience from first contact to final offer. You'll work closely with hiring managers across our European studios and collaborate with the wider Talent Acquisition team during a major recruitment push to meet the demands of an exciting development roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for tech and engineering roles across CIG's European studios.
- Build and execute innovative sourcing strategies to engage top-tier candidates proactively, including for niche and hard-to-fill roles.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand team needs and translate them into effective hiring plans.
- Drive direct sourcing and headhunting initiatives to consistently improve and diversify candidate pipelines.
- Deliver a seamless, memorable, and high-touch candidate experience from initial outreach through to onboarding.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and ATS workflows, providing regular reporting on pipeline health.
- Act as a strategic partner - not just a service - offering market insights and guidance to help hiring managers succeed.
- What we are looking for?
- Solid experience recruiting for tech and engineering roles, ideally within games, software, or creative industries.
- A mix of in-house and agency experience is highly valued; you know how to manage volume while maintaining quality.
- Proven success utilising advanced sourcing platforms, tools, and diverse outreach methods.
- Confidence in utilising, improving, and owning recruitment operations (ATS workflows, documentation, metrics).
- Ability to work effectively across time zones to support international hiring needs.
- Exceptional communication, organisational skills, and a sharp attention to detail.
- A collaborative, can-do attitude. We are a close-knit team that actively supports one another.
