Director - Risk Advisory (Internal Audit)

About the role

As part of BDO's continued growth in our Risk Advisory - Internal Audit capability, we are seeking an established Director to join our Brisbane team. In this role, you will lead complex, value‑adding internal audit and risk advisory engagements, partnering with Executives, Boards and Audit & Risk Committees to strengthen governance, decision‑making and organisational performance. You will play a key role in shaping the direction of our Internal Audit offering in Queensland - driving client relationships, leading high‑impact engagements and contributing to the continued growth of the practice. About the service line / team BDO's Risk Advisory team supports organisations to manage risk in a practical and proportionate way. Our Internal Audit capability delivers risk‑based internal audit and advisory services across a range of co‑sourced and outsourced models. The team works closely with specialists across BDO's broader Advisory practice, including forensics, cyber, finance advisory and people consulting.
