Job Description Summary The Restaurant Server (RS) is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives covering the food service venues of the hotel. The Server sets-up, services, and breaks-down the food and beverage areas where they are assigned ensuring a high level of quality, consistency and service. Job Description Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. - Present menus, take orders, and answer questions about menu items. - Provide recommendations and upsell specials or additional items. - Input orders accurately into the POS system and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen. - Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously. - Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. - Monitor table cleanliness and promptly clear dishes and utensils. - Prepare and deliver accurate checks, handle payments, and process transactions. - Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens. - Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards. - Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service. - Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup. - Uphold a positive attitude and teamwork mentality. - Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required. - Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly. - Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations. - Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times. - Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
