Job Overview/Summary: The Education Manager will provide technical assistance and project management support the implementation of Safe Healing and Learning Space (SHLS) activities, integrated education interventions with Child Protection sector, and Education in Emergencies (EiE) activities, and Early Childhood Development (ECD) program to support crisis and conflict-affected children in Myanmar. The program focuses on coordinated, evidence-based, community-centered and multi-sectoral approaches to improve children's access to safe, protective, inclusive, and quality learning and development opportunities in humanitarian and emergency settings. The role requires material contextualization, capacity strengthening, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement and coordination, and technical support to partner. The role aslo collaborates with Child Protection sector team to strengthen integrated programming, contributes to capacity assessment, monitoring and quality assurance, and supports the well-being and safety of facilitators and participating children. A strong commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and adherece to the organization's Code of Conducts is essential, ensuring that all activities uphold the principles of protection, inclusion, and accountability to affected populations. Major Responsibilities: Technical Support: With the support of Education Specialist and Technical Advisors, conduct and lead the assessment with children, caregivers, and service providers to design and support appropriate programming. Identify key priorities, opportunities and challenges for program monitoring and evaluation through protection monitoring, data collection and analysis. Identify gaps in education services and service providers for affected children, and propose opportunities for strengthening education components, including basic literacy and numeracy and children learning outcomes. With the support of Education Specialist and Child Protection Specialist, assist in establishing Safe Healing and Learning Spaces (SHLS) to deliver structured Basic Literacy and Numeracy curriculum, and child protection activities for targeted children. Provide technical support in developing EiE/ECD modules and contextualizing curriculum, together with consultants, Education Specialist and Technical Advisors. Contribute to innovation and adaptive programming approaches to improve learning and developmental outcomes of children. Assist in the development of proposal including the narrative, work plan, research and budget. Provide technical assistance to implementing partners and ensure the implementation is done effectively in line with quality standards and program requirements. Project Management: Conduct participatory action with children, caregivers, and service providers to inform strategies for prototyping and piloting of the program. Provide technical oversight, leadership and follow through the start-up, implementation, monitoring with field team and work closely with protection team. Ensure that all interventions meet INEE and Child Protection minimum standards, including gender sensitivity, inclusivity and accessible to children with diverse needs. Oversee project workplan and ensure the effective use and follow up of the project's budget, spending plan, procurement plan and other program tools. Actively participate and proactively contribute to grant and partnership meetings, and review meetings. Provided support to MEAL team for monitoring tools, quality checking and feedback mechanism development for program effectiveness. Client engagement and stratification by following the guidance of AAP mechanism and provide timely response. Material Development and Capacity building: Support in development and finalizing the integrated education curriculum; through field test and consultation with Education Specialist, Technical Advisors and also with different sectors (Protection, Health and Nutrition). Identify gaps and areas for improvement to strengthen program quality and support the contextualization and development of learning and supplementary materials. Lead development of training module; counselor handbook; program implementation guideline and va
