As a Transaction Management Associate, you will help support Zillow Home Loans' asset sale efforts by partnering across Capital Markets, loan delivery, servicing, and external buyers to execute efficient, well-controlled transactions. You Will Get To: Support efforts to expand mortgage asset sale channels across agency, whole loan, and non-agency investors. Coordinate with the Capital Markets trade desk and loan delivery teams to execute loan and servicing sales, resolve transaction issues, and identify process improvements. Support distressed loan sale activities as needed. Reconcile investor purchase advice, analyze execution against expectations, and share findings with the Transaction Manager. Review and reconcile post-sale items, including holdbacks, EPO/EPD invoices, escrow releases, note transfers or re-certifications, and post-fund data corrections. Build and maintain reporting to monitor the loan sale pipeline and support operational visibility. Manage note release and collateral oversight with warehouse banks and custodians, escalating risks or exceptions as needed. Partner with the Servicing team and servicing buyers to resolve transfer-related issues and support smooth post-sale execution. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions. In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $23.80 - $35.60 hourly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $22.60 - $33.80 hourly. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience working with Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams to improve outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
