We are looking for an extracurricular internship in Rivalta di Torino. You will work in Global Supply Chain area for New Product Industrialization (NPI) Team. You will support project planning, progress monitoring, reporting and plan adjustments. You will learn how to ensure product quality requirements are met and how to drive the team towards Production Readiness and achievement of Manufacturing Target Cost, while bringing new ideas and positive support to continuously improve existing processes. Job Description Essential Responsabilities Support the Senior NPI Leader with the coordination of all the industrial activities devoted to the NPI for a new repair program Interface with the Program Manager and Global Supply Chain Learn how to evaluate if the team is able to matchh the program milestones, reaching the Production Readiness and the Manufacturing Target Cost Participate in NPI projects for new repairs to be developed Support Senior NPI Leader to align projects plan in the appropriate systems and report him all the main updates on the work in progress activities Learn how to manage the program, provide interim reports and modify plan as required Support the Supply Chain Departments and the involved plants in the execution of the activities required by the development plan Effectively communicate with other teams and program manager to ensure the product quality is delivered Deep dive the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical operating plans for each assigned program Support the Program team and the Supply Chain Departments in order to achieve the Production Readiness Bring new ideas and positive support to the current processes Qualifications / Requirements Master's Degree in Engineering field or in STEM disciplines Ability to analyze problems and identify root causes and provide efficient solutions Desire for "hands on" approach to resolving opportunities/issues Curious and eager to learn Attention to detail and accuracy Good oral and written communication skills Fluent Italian and good knowledge of English Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Outstanding academic achievements Strong analytical and problem solving skills Able to coordinate many tasks concurrently Inclusion & Diversity Avio Aero is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and we are strongly committed to maintain an inclusive and diverse environment.
