Position Summary The Nursing Simulation Lab Coordinator is a staff position with teaching responsibilities that assists with clinical learning lab facilities and simulation lab activities in the Nursing Department. This position works collaboratively with the nursing faculty and assists the department with daily nursing simulation laboratory operations and with incorporating technology throughout the curriculum. The Simulation Lab Coordinator is expected to serve as a role model, demonstrating professional behavior in communication, customer service, collaboration, and attendance. The successful candidate must be willing to adhere to policies and procedures regarding students and faculty as established by the University and Department. The Coordinator collaborates with faculty to meet the educational needs of students from a diverse urban population, develops and implements simulation activities according to INACSL standards, and evaluates student performance in simulation. The position supports the Department of Nursing in maintaining high-quality, safe, and well-organized simulation and skills learning environments.
