Transports and transfers patient from units and to and from OR table.
Performs cleaning duties within the OR suites.
Maintains specific OR supply inventories.
Holds for preps as necessary.
Assists OR team position patients for surgery.
Maintains safe corridors - free from clutter. Monitors hallways and removes extraneous equipment, as needed.
Supports sterilization and cleaning of instruments.
Delivers specimens, equipment, blood, X-rays, and patient records to and from the OR.
Stocks supplies and linen as needed.
Cleans related areas and equipment as needed.
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Previous work experience in an Operating Room setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
CPR Certification within 3 months of hire

This role provides an opportunity to work closely within the Operating Room Complex. The Operating Room Aide supports both medical and nursing staff by assisting with daily operations and maintaining required technical competencies to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Day Shift
