Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive academic advising, degree planning, and student success coaching to assigned students.
  • Guide students through curriculum requirements, registration, financial aid resources, VA benefits, and graduation planning.
  • Proactively communicate with students throughout their academic journey to support retention, persistence, and timely degree completion.
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation across university systems, including Campus Solutions, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
  • Support local site operations by assisting with community outreach, student engagement activities, compliance initiatives, and facility coordination.
  • Collaborate with faculty, site leadership, and university departments to address student needs and enhance the overall student experience.
  • Assist with budget-related processes, operational planning, and regulatory compliance activities as needed.
  • Participate in graduation events, local outreach opportunities, and other university initiatives that promote Embry-Riddle's mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse student populations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze information, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Experience providing academic advising, student services, or higher education support is preferred.
  • Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn and effectively utilize university systems and software platforms.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records, exercise sound judgment, and handle confidential information professionally.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for events and graduation activities and travel locally as needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student success, collaboration, and delivering exceptional service in a team-oriented environment.

Benefits

The (annual salary/hourly) range for this role is up to $43,888 . The final offer will be based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range.Vision insuranceEquity / stock options
