Maintain and organize safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Monitor driver qualification files and ensure all required certifications and medical documents are current.
Assist in ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company safety policies.
Track and report accidents, incidents, and safety violations.
Support investigations by gathering documentation and maintaining accurate records.
Coordinate safety training, meetings, and communications.
Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and assist with log auditing as needed.
Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
Communicate with drivers and internal departments regarding safety-related matters.
Utilize internal systems (e.g., AS400, TMT, Platform Science) and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
Identify trends in safety data and escalate concerns to leadership.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Safety, Transportation, or related field preferred.
Experience in transportation safety, fleet operations, or administrative support preferred.
Basic knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
