Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or a closely related field plus one year of experience in performing professional accounting experience; or
An equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of bookkeeping for each year of the required degree.
Demonstrated experience using the Oracle Peoplesoft financial system
Knowledge of State of Oklahoma purchasing laws, rules, and procedures
Certified Procurement Officer, Level One certification
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and theories;
Knowledge of financial statements and reports; of accounting ledgers and journals;
Knowledge of computer technology related to accounting systems;
Ability to prepare basic financial statements and reports;
Ability to review and analyze financial information work independently and perform a wide range of technical accounting functions;
Ability to maintain routine accounting data in appropriate ledgers and journals.
